On February 26th, a boil water notice was issued for the area of County Road 4790 and County Road 4797. This notice was for those who lost pressure during this incident; that notice is now rescinded.

Walnut Creek SUD crews are working to repair a water main rupture on Jaybird Lane. This will affect the pressure on Jaybird Lane from Springfield Rd to hwy 199 and include Amanda Lane, Cora Court and Lily Court. When the repairs and complete and pressure returns these areas will be under a boil water notice.
Boil Water Notice for Community Public Water Systems

Due to pressure loss, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required Walnut Creek SUD public water system to notify all customers on Jaybird Lane fron Springfield Rd to Hwy 199, Amanda Lane, Cora Court and Lily Cour to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions).
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.
In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the public water system officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
Once the boil water notice is no longer in effect, the public water system will issue a notice to customers that rescinds the boil water notice in a manner similar to this notice.
Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail.

Crews are currently working on a 6 inch water main break on Ladybird ln. The Knob Hill Rd from Ladybird to FM 730 is effected by this occurance. This includes Briar Oaks Addition, Frontier Ct, Willow Ct, Lynock area, N Cardinal, and Knob Hill Rd (from Ladybird Ln to FM 730). Once the repairs are completed a boil water has been issued for the aforementioned areas.

Wednesday, February 18th contractors installing the new water main on FM51 south of Springtown will be performing a tie-in at the intersection of Sandlin Ln and FM 51. This will take approximately 6 hours to complete and there will be a boil water notice for the meters located on Sandlin Ln from FM 51 to Young Rd following the completion.
