The Boil Water Notice issued on March 17th following a water main break has been rescinded. This is for the residents on Miller Creek Lake Rd and Niki Rd.

On 3/26/26the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required Walnut Creek SUD WS ID # TX 1840008 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of 3/30/26

A contractor performing dirt work damaged the 2 inch water line on Utopia. This will effect the pressure on Utopia and Peel from Utopia west to Meadow Rd. Following the repairs there will be a boil water notice in effect.

Crews are currently repairing a water line on Wonder Drive. This will affect the water pressure on Wonder Drive and on Dotson Court. These areas will be under a boil water notice once repairs have been completed, until further notice. As this is an emergency repair completion time is unknown
